<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bread crumb application machine enabling the confirmation of the state of a silicone plate of a pressing member. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to a bread crumb application machine to apply bread crumb to a processing food material. The bread crumb application machine 1 is provided with a transfer conveyor 4 to transfer a bread crumb layer 2 surrounding the processing food material P and a pressing device 6 attached to the transfer conveyor 4 and pressing the bread crumb layer 2 from above. The pressing device 6 has a pressing member 20 bonded with a silicone plate 48 for pressing the upper surface 2a of the bread crumb layer 2 and a vertically moving mechanism 18 to vertically reciprocate the pressing member 20.
