PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for measuring a collision load, capable of detecting with high accuracy the level of collision load and load distribution position, in a collision experiment for a vehicle. SOLUTION: This system/method is provided with a load cell 7 for detecting load value in collision, and a sheet-like pressure detector 9 for detecting load distribution, and the detected value of the load distribution in the sheet-like pressure detector 9 is corrected, based on the ratio of the respective load values detected by the load cell 7 and by the sheet-like pressure detector 9.
