PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device which has excellent mounting strength while keeping the piezoelectric device compact and thin. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device comprises: a substrate 10, a crystal vibrating piece 20 as a piezoelectric element arranged in a recessed portion 15 on one surface side of the substrate 10; an IC 30 as a circuit element arranged in a recessed portion 16 on the other surface side of the substrate 10; a cover body 23 sealing the crystal vibrating piece 20 on the one surface side of the substrate 10; a resin 31 sealing the IC 30 on the other surface side of the substrate 10; and a terminal electrode 34 which is provided to the bottom portion on the other surface side of the substrate 10 and electrically connected to the IC 30.
