PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a pattern at a high quality level by a screen printing method in which paste is patterned by using a squeegee and a screen plate composed of a mesh and an emulsion, and in which a pattern of the emulsion is transferred as-is as a pattern composed of the paste, without the deformation of the patterned emulsion. SOLUTION: In this screen printing method, the screen plate composed of the mesh and the patterned emulsion is used, and the paste is squeegeed on the screen plate, so that the pattern can be formed on a substrate.
