PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel-fixing device which has good operability on the fastening or loosening of a nut member and can surely fix or release a reel leg. SOLUTION: This reel-fixing device (4) comprising a reel seat body (10) for receiving a reel leg (8), the first and second hoods (14, 15) disposed in the reel seat body (10) and facing each other through the reel leg (8), and a cylindrical nut member (23) disposed on at least one of the hoods (14, 17) and screwed on the reel seat body (10) to move the first and second hoods (14, 15) in a relatively approaching direction, thus fixing the reel leg (8) to the reel seat body (10), is characterized in that the nut member (23) has a finger-hooking dent portion (34) formed in the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the nut member (23), and a sloop (36 or 37) inclined in a direction for enlarging the width of the dent portion (34) toward the outer direction outside of the nut member (23) is formed at at least one nut member (23)-moving direction end of the nut portion (34).
