<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip removing device to remove chips in cutting fluid by attracting the chips contained in the cutting fluid totally to an attracting magnet evenly the chips. <P>SOLUTION: In this device, a liquid absorbing port 21 and a liquid discharging port 23 are provided on an upper part of a cylindrical body 10, an attracting chamber, a liquid absorbing passage and a liquid discharging passage are provided in the cylindrical body 10, the liquid absorbing port 21 and the attracting chamber are connected by the liquid absorbing passage, the attracting chamber and the liquid discharging port are connected by the liquid discharging passage, the attracting magnet M is installed on a bottom surface of the attracting chamber, and an opening of the liquid absorbing passage is faced to the magnet 311. The cutting fluid supplied from the liquid absorbing passage to the attracting chamber therefore becomes turbulence within the attracting chamber, while colliding with the magnet 311, and subsequently, the cutting fluid is discharged via the liquid discharging passage. The chips contained in the cutting fluid tends to be attracted by the attracting magnet as a whole without being biased.
