PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens holder for which an injection molding die using thermoplastic resin can be made at a low cost, for which a long-term use is made possible, and for which picture quality and operation performance are free from deterioration due to flashes likely to be generated inside a through hole, and also to provide a lens centering apparatus that can be miniaturized as well as a lens centering method that can be easily performed. SOLUTION: The lens holder 10 is composed of a lens barrel 12 and an optical lens 11. On the circumferential face of the lens barrel 12, there are formed a plurality of recesses 13-15 with prescribed spaces apart in the circumferential direction. These recesses 13-15 are concave toward the inner peripheral face 16 which is formed with a larger diameter than the outer diameter of the optical lens 11. In the centering operation, after the optical lens 11 is assembled in the lens barrel 12, heated adjusting heads are each inserted from the outer circumference of the lens barrel 12 into the plurality of recesses 13-15, thermally deforming thin parts 17-19 between the bottom face of each recess 13-15 and the inner peripheral face 16 toward the optical lens 11 and pressurizing the thin parts to the optical lens 11.
