A diecast equipment and a diecast method which can use a high frequency induction coil as a heater for heating a metal material and can increase a ratio of an amorphous phase contained in a molded article are provided. A diecast equipment comprises: a sleeve(104) extending in a vertical direction; a plunger that moves upward in a vertical direction within the sleeve; a mold(109,110) disposed above an upper portion of the sleeve; a case member(115) which is made of a nonconductive member, covers at least a lower end of the sleeve and forms a closed space(115a) including the lower end of the sleeve; a communicating pipe(114) for connecting the inside of the closed space to the outside of the closed space; and a high-frequency induction coil(113a,113b) for heating a metal material(200) disposed on the plunger from the outside of the case member to melt the metal material. The case member is made of any one of quartz, glass and ceramic.
