PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and flexibly control an illumination system of multiple circuits according to its size and installation conditions. SOLUTION: The light control device 1 comprises a plurality of light control units 3 which adjust individually the output of a plurality of illumination apparatuses, a controller 4 which controls in one lot each light control unit 3, and a setting unit 5 which inputs and sets light control information such as illuminance and lighting patterns or the like of the illumination apparatuses. Independent circuit boards 8, 16, 25 are respectively provided for the light control unit 3, the controller 4, and the setting unit 5. A communication circuit 10 of the circuit board for light control 8 is connected to a first communication circuit 18 of the circuit board for control 16 by a communication line 13.
