PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel leg-fixing device which improves reel attachability, detachability and operability, when gripped. SOLUTION: This reel leg-fixing device comprises a reel leg-fixing body 1 and a movable hood 3 to be fit onto the front side outer periphery of the reel leg-fixing body 1. The movable hood 3 is longitudinally movably formed in the axial direction. The movable hood 3 comprises a metal cover portion 4 and a synthetic resin holding portion 5, and the cover portion 4 is formed by integrally connecting a movable hood portion 4a to a nut portion 4b. The outer shape of the movable hood portion 4a of the cover portion 4 has a cylindrical portion (a), a steep slope (b), and a shelving slope (c), and the nut portion 4b is formed by disposing an uneven non-slip portion (e) on the outer periphery adjacently to the slow slop (c) through a circumferential groove (d).
