PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor for an automobile favorable in safe run of the automobile in which a sunglass plate is built in a sun visor body in an accessible manner, the low backlight of the west sun or the rising sun is shaded, and a forward view can be sufficiently ensured. SOLUTION: A sunglass plate 3 is accessibly accommodated in a sun visor body 1, and the sunglass plate 3 is pulled downward from the sun visor body 1 when it is used so that the low backlight of the west sun or the rising sun is shaded, and a forward view can be ensured.
