PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent patterned case with a fully stereoscopic beautiful watermark imparted thereto, in which the watermark part hardly become invisible even after being subjected to wear or damages with time and cost increase and the restriction of manufacture lots are not generated even when the pattern is detailed. SOLUTION: At least a part of a lid body 4 of the case is constituted of a transparent member with a non-transparent or translucent thin film layer formed on the back surface of the member. A recessed pattern is imparted integrally with the thin film layer to the back surface side of the transparent member, the thin film layer inside at least a part of recessed parts of the recessed part pattern is removed by laser irradiation to form the watermark P when viewed from the back surface side of the transparent member.
