PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter having a leveling rotor in front of a planting machine in a manner to be switchable between a working position contacting with the ground and a housed position separated from the ground surface, and provided with an alarming means to disconnect the transmission of driving force to the leveling rotor to prevent the improper planting work in the state of contacting the leveling rotor with the ground to damage the field surface. SOLUTION: The transplanter is provided with a height detection means 73 to detect the height of a leveling rotor 34 relative to a planting machine 15 and an input detection means 74 to detect the turning on/off of the driving power to the leveling rotor 34. The working position of the leveling rotor 34 is detected by the height detection means 73. When turning off of the driving power to the rotor 34 is detected by the input detection means 74, alarming means 76, 77 are operated to prevent the ground travel of the planting machine 15.
