<p>The invention relates to a gasket having at least one metal layer (2) in which at least two through openings (3,4) are arranged which are each surrounded by at least one bead (10) and which are separated by a web area (9) , the beads surrounding the adjacent through openings being so brought together in the web area, that at least two bead limbs extend through the web area, and wherein at least in sections an undulating or meander-like profiling adjoins the bead(s) and forms a stopper for the bead, the stopper extending in the web area between the at least two bead limbs and the number of the raised portions of the stopper, formed respectively by the undulating or meander-like profilings, being smaller in the web area than the sum of the raised portions of the stopper outside the web area.</p> |
