PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an operating sound in the retreat of a sliding member of a door opening device by reducing voltage applied to a motor in retreating the sliding member in a refrigerator equipped with the motor-driven door opening device. SOLUTION: A control device 20 comprises a microcomputer 21 and a voltage variable motor driver IC 22. When retreating an output shaft 8, a voltage setting signal 24 from the microcomputer 21 to the voltage variable motor driver IC 22 is set lower than voltage in advancing the output shaft 8. The voltage applied to the motor 7 in retreating the output shaft 8 is thereby lower than the voltage in advancing the output shaft 8, and the retreat speed of the output shaft 8 can be made slow to reduce the operating sound of the door opening device 3.
