PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag and an apparatus for dust collection having a excellent dust-collecting capability, a long lifetime and less burden on the operator because of its ability of rapidly, easily and possibly eliminating the clogging with dust even if occurring and allowing reduction of the time for dust-collecting work. SOLUTION: A dust-collecting bag 1 is connected with a blower 9 to collect dust D in the air and has an intake inlet 5 to be connected with the blowing outlet 10 of the blower 9 at one end of a cylindrical body made of a flexible gas-permeable sheet and having a cylindrical inside space and a discharging outlet 6 at the other end of the cylindrical body on the side opposite to that connected with the intake inlet. The bag has, on the side of the cylindrical body of the discharging outlet 6, a body 2 having a dust-collecting section 4 in which the cross-section of the inside space perpendicular to the axis of the inside space decreases toward the discharging outlet 6, a cylindrical connecting section 7 connected with the discharging outlet 6 of the body 2 and a bag-shaped collecting section 8 connected with the other end of the connecting section 7 opposed to the end connected with the discharging outlet 6, having an inside volume smaller than that of the body and composed of a flexible gas-permeable sheet.
