PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage control device which shortens the time, at which a mechanical operational sound is generated when information is written, for specific conditions, and specifies information even if it is lost. SOLUTION: When receiving substance information inputted from a data-input device 15, a CPU 11 determines whether preliminarily determined conditions are established. When the preliminarily determined conditions are established, the CPU writes the substance information to a RAM 12 and also writes management information for managing the substance information to a disk device 14. When the preliminarily determined conditions are not established, the CPU writes the substance information and the management information to a disk device 14. When the preliminarily determined conditions are no longer established, the CPU 11 reads out the substance information stored in the RAM 12 and writes it to the disk device 14.
