PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loading mechanism which can be thinned with a simplified mechanism, hardly causes a flaw in a disk and can identify a disk diameter, and also to provide a disk player using the loading mechanism. SOLUTION: The loading mechanism 11 comprises first and second arm members 30, 30 which turn centering on first and second fulcrum 31, 31, a cam mechanism 60 for turning at least one of the first and second arm members 30, 30 by driving force from a driving source 71 to hold and feed a disk 12, and a third arm member 80 which independently turns centering a third fulcrum 81, gives energization force to the disk 12 by an energizing means 86 and holds the outer circumferential part of the disk 12, wherein when holding and feeding the disk 12, the central part of the disk 12 is located inside a figure obtained by connecting contact parts adjacent to each other among three or more contact parts, in total, of the disk 12 with the first to third arm members 30, 30, 80.
