<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device and a piezoelectric element for increasing the displacement of a displacement layer, while maintaining the reliability in electrical connections between a terminal electrode and an internal electrode. <P>SOLUTION: In the piezoelectric device 1, the terminal electrode 16 electrically connected to an individual electrode 5 is formed on the other end face 3b of the displacement layer 3, to which a fluid storage section 21 is fixed, and a lead wire 26 is electrically connected to the terminal electrode 16 in the fluid storage section 21. Similarly, the terminal electrode electrically connected to common electrodes 7, 9 is formed on the other end face 3b of the displacement layer 3, and the lead wire is electrically connected to the terminal electrode in the fluid storage section 21. As a result, even if a displacement constraint layer 4 laminated on one end face 3a of the displacement layer 3 is made thick for increasing the displacement of the displacement layer 3, the electrical connection, or the like between the terminal electrode 16 and the individual electrode 5 will not become uncertain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
