PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimmer enabling diligently attaching and detaching a blade cover so as to contribute to convenience of work using the trimmer. SOLUTION: This trimmer 10 has a trimmer body 16, a pair of blades 32 and 34 provided on the trimmer main body and a moving member 40 which is provided in a movable manner between a first position and a second position on the trimmer body. A blade cover part 30 is formed on the moving member. The blade cover part is in a state of being attached to the pair of blades when the moving member is at the first position, and the blade cover part is in a state of being removed from the pair of blades when the moving member is at the second position.
