CYANATE ESTER COMPOUND, FLAME RETARDING RESIN COMPOSITION AND PREPREG AND LAMINATION PLATE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocurable resin composition which has excellent flame retardancy and high heat resistance, and also to provide a new cyanate ester compound which gives a prepreg and a lamination plate using the above composition. SOLUTION: The cyanate ester compound is represented by formula (1). The thermocurable resin composition contains the above compound. The prepreg comprises the above composition and a base material. The lamination plate is prepared by curing the above prepreg. In the formula, Ar1represents any one of a phenylene group, a naphthylene group or a biphenylene group; Rxcan be all substituted groups of Ar1and can be the same or different groups; and also Rxrepresents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or aryl group.
