PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic inspection device for display panel which automatically inspects testing items such as point defect or line defect, while achieving an enhancement of precision in detection and judgment of display unevenness without requiring any difficult display unevenness detection/determination processing. SOLUTION: In the device, an image processing circuit 4 performs image processing for the detection of certain testing items other than display unevenness based on image data, a judgment circuit 5 determines defects from processing result of the image processing circuit 4, and an image processing circuit 6 performs image processing based on the image data so that display unevenness may become marked to be output to a display unit 6a.
