The device has a design module, an automation software, and an engineering module receiving the software and projecting an automation hardware based on the software to output projecting data to the hardware. A simulation module simulates the hardware and a process and is connected with the engineering module to receive the projecting data and with the design module to transfer simulated process data. An independent claim is also included for a method of examining technical tasks when designing a control system.
