A SHARP CURVE RAILWAY TUNNEL SAFETY-UNIT

A safety apparatus of a sharp curve railway tunnel is provided to reduce the breakage and the life damage due to the collision energy of the train and the tunnel by precluding the train from directly colliding with the tunnel when the train passes through the sharp curve area of the tunnel. A safety apparatus(10) of a sharp curve railway tunnel is composed of a body made of urethane material and fixed through anchor bolts(2) installed in the railway tunnel; a steel plate(12) installed with plural resin-filled holes and insert-molded in the body; an impact absorbing rod(13) internally placed at one surface of the body along with the length direction; and a coil spring-type elastic member(14) wound at the outer perimeter of the impact absorbing rod to hold the impact absorbing rod as a circle.
