#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves receiving analog television signals from an application software of a host terminal via communication units of the terminal`s direct show architecture (2). The analog signals transmitted from the communication units to standard open interfaces of a control unit are received by an analog television tuner. Digital television signals transmitted from the software to a specific interface of the control unit are received by a digital television tuner.
