<p>The corner connection system for table frames comprises a spring section (4) formed by a vertical cut at the top of the table leg, which is made from a resilient material, e.g. the wood of the service tree (Sorbus torminalis). A tenon (7) on the end of one cross-bar fits into a mortise (5) in the leg and is locked in place by a tenon (8) on the second cross-bar which fits into a mortise (6) passing through the first tenon.</p>
