PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a member such as a cell frame and leakage of liquid by making uniform surface pressure applied on the lamination face of cells by a tightening force in lamination direction of the cell laminate by a tightening mechanism, even if there arises unevenness to the thickness of the cell laminate. SOLUTION: The electrolytic liquid circulation battery comprises a cell laminate in which a plurality of plate-shape cells having a positive electrode, a diaphragm, and a negative electrode are laminated and a tightening mechanism to tighten the cell laminate in lamination direction. The tightening mechanism 3 has end plates 31 which are arranged at the outside of both ends in lamination direction of the cell laminate 200, an adjusting part 32 to adjust the spacing between the end plates, and a deformation part 33 which is installed between the outermost face in lamination direction of the cell laminate 200 and the end plate 31. The deformation part 33 covers the whole of the outermost face of the cell laminate 200 and is deformed along the outermost face of the cell laminate 200, and applies a pressure uniformly on the cell laminate when the cell laminate is pressed by the end plate 31.
