PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bareness from being generated in a product tire, and to control a decrease of heat generation durability and an increase of a tire cost. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a green tire comprising forming a carcass band 11 made by forming a carcass raw material into a cylindrical shape into a predetermined toroidal shape in which the diameter of the central portion is mechanically enlarged, and plastering at least a belt layer 14, a tread rubber 15 and a sidewall rubber 16 on the outer surface of the carcass band 11 is characterized in that thickness t<SB>0</SB>of the sidewall rubber at the portion which becomes the specifying position of the maximum tire width in a cross-section in a widthwise direction of the green tire 18 at the end of shaping is 20 to 40% of the thickness T of the central portion in a widthwise direction of the tread rubber 15, and that rubber thickness t<SB>1</SB>of a buttress area 19 exceeding 60% of cross-sectional height H of the green tire 18 from the inner circumferential side to the outer circumferential side and existing in the radially inward of a side edge of the belt layer 14 having the maximum width is 40 to 80% of the thickness T of the central portion in a widthwise direction of the tread rubber 15.
