<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a long size building material forming a foundation such as a handrail superior in functionality and an outward appearance. <P>SOLUTION: This long size building material is composed of a mold member 1 for forming a cross-sectional shape in a C shape by a roll molding means, a base member 2 composed of a transparent plastic material integrally arranged with the mold member 1 in a C-shaped cross-sectional surface part of the mold member 1 by an extrusion molding means, and a strip-like member 3 integrally arranged with the base member 2 on the opposite side of the existing side of the mold member 1 of the base member 2 and formed of a member composed of an opaque body including a metallic member.
