PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed type cooling tower capable of reducing labor of maintenance, and at the same time, capable of further improving a cooling capacity by minimizing spray water supply to a heat exchange part, and significantly reducing a spray water retaining amount of a whole of the cooling tower. SOLUTION: An amount of the spray water sprayed from spraying means 14 and 15 is suppressed at an amount of water that can be evaporated on a heat exchange part 10 surface, and an amount of the spray water reaching the heat exchange part 10 is minimized. Since the spray water is newly supplied and used directly from the outside, and circulation of the spray water in the cooling tower and cooling of the spray water itself are not carried out, only spray water with a low temperature can be sprayed, heat exchange capacity of the spray water can be constantly secured, a filler in a form partially blocking a void portion of the heat exchange part 10 can be eliminated, draft resistance is reduced to smooth heat exchange part 10 passage of outside air, the outside air can be positively brought into contact with the heat exchange part 10 and the spray water, and in addition to improving heat exchange performance, a load of a fan 16 can be reduced.
