<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting apparatus capable of grasping a cause to abnormality caused onto a transmission path of a video signal. <P>SOLUTION: In a video system 1 provided with a video receiver 3 for acquiring a video signal and a video signal processing apparatus 4 for allowing a display apparatus 5 to display the video signal acquired by the video receiver 3, and the video receiver 3 discriminates that whether the transmission path is in an of a normal state, an open state, a short circuit state, and a grounding state on the basis of a DC signal level obtained from the transmission path through which the video signal is transmitted to the video signal processing apparatus 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
