PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking stove capable of adopting a capacitance switch in an operation part even when a top plate is formed by a metal thick plate, and capable of providing compatibility between improvement of operability of the operating part, and improvement of appearance of the top plate. SOLUTION: The top plate 6 formed by a metal plate material with a flat top face is provided covering a top part of a cooking stove body 3. The operating part 16 for indicating operation of a cooking stove burner is provided on the top plate 6. The operating part 16 is provided with a window part 17 formed so as to penetrate the top plate 6, a glass plate 18 blocking the window part 17, and a touch switch 31 attached to a rear face of the glass plate 18, and operable via the glass plate.
