TWO-LIQUID TYPE LIQUID PROPELLANT, METHOD OF PROPELLING FLIGHT VEHICLE AND PROPELLING MACHINERY

A two-liquid type liquid propellant that is capable of ignition combustion without the use of any catalyst; and a relevant method of propelling a flight vehicle and propelling machinery. In the two-liquid type liquid propellant, an aqueous solution of hydroxylammonium nitrate is used as an oxidizer and one or two or more members selected from among ethers are used as a fuel. In the method of propelling a flight vehicle, part of the liquid propellant is converted to plasma to thereby obtain a high-temperature gas, and mixed with the remainder of the liquid propellant in a constrictor to thereby effect ignition combustion, and the resultant combustion gas is emitted through a nozzle to thereby obtain a propelling force.
