PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable charging to a portable communication terminal and character input using a keyboard for a personal computer using one auxiliary device. SOLUTION: The auxiliary device 1 has a charging part 21 which supplies power to the portable communication terminal, an interface 13 for the keyboard in which a form for enabling connection of the keyboard for the personal computer is determined, an interface 15 for the portable communication terminal which enables connection with the portable communication terminal, and an interface 14 for the personal computer which enables connection with the personal computer. Data inputted from the keyboard for the personal computer is converted into data for the portable communication terminal by a data conversion means 18 for the portable communication terminal and outputted to the portable communication terminal. In addition, the data inputted from the keyboard for the personal computer is converted into data for the personal computer by a data conversion means 17 for personal computer and outputted to the personal computer. Furthermore, the charging to the portable communication terminal and the character input to the portable communication terminal using the keyboard are made possible using the auxiliary device 1.
