PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester polyol composition having suppressed increase of acid value during the storage in the presence of water and an amine catalyst, i.e. excellent hydrolysis resistance, resistant to the deterioration of the reactivity with time in foam producing step and useful as a raw material for the production of rigid polyurethane foam. SOLUTION: The polyester polyol composition usable for the production of a rigid polyurethane foam by using water as a foaming agent is produced by reacting a raw material mixture containing at least one kind of dihydric alcohol selected from polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 190-1,000 (especially 190-600) and a 4-9C (especially 6-8C) alkylene glycol and orthophthalic acid. Preferably, the amount of the dihydric alcohol is 5-95 mass% (especially 20-95 mass%) based on 100 mass% of the sum of the dihydric alcohol and the orthophthalic acid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
