The decorative wheel cover is attached to the basic cover with several sets of fastening elements (2). Each set (2) comprises a screw to be inserted into a conical housing (2) from below and a cap (21) to be pushed onto the top of the housing (2) and joined to the screw with a matching inner thread. The cap (21) can be transparent and a battery operated lamp positioned underneath. It can be removed with a metal strip bent into a u-shape (3) and provided with flaps (30) located at the inner surfaces of its arms. The flaps (30) can be engaged with recesses (201) at the conical housing (20).
