An illuminating unit illuminates a front zone of the appliance and includes a light source which emits a luminous flux in direction of an optical guide. A control button is accessible to a user and is retained on the carrier for pivoting around a pivoting axis of the carrier. The optical guide is adapted to guide the luminous flux along the pivoting axis. An optical conduit (500) recovers the luminous flux guided according to the axis and brings it to the zone.</p>
