RECEPTION TIMING INITIAL PHASE SETTING SYSTEM IN DIGITAL SIGNAL TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To reduce the test time of a transmission and reception circuit due to loopback and introduction of test by adjusting the phase so that the training is started at a phase delayed by an optimum reception timing from a transmission timing. CONSTITUTION:A selector 33 of a transmission reception circuit 100 selects an output of a delay circuit 31 and gives it to a reception circuit 100 upon the receipt of a loopback request E at the master side, then the circuit 2 applies initial setting in a reception timing tb delayed by a phase T1 from the transmission timing ta. The circuit 2 applies initial setting in a reception timing tb delayed by a phase 2 T1 from the transmission timing ta when a near distance connection request F is received. Since the optimum reception timing at the loopback in the transmission reception circuit of the master side is the phase T1 the same as the slave side when the transmission distance is 0, the training time is decreased by starting the training from the initial phase T1.
