A flexible, evacuable storage bag (10) has a storage portion (12), an airtig ht seal (14), and a one-way valve. The valve includes a strip (52) sandwiched between top and bottom sheets (40, 42) used to make the bag (10). The strip (52) is bonded along the edges to the top and bottom sheets so as to form a single passageway extending from the storage portion to outside the bag.</SD OAB>
