A receiving performance measurement system using an analysis function of a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to measure a BER(Bit Error Rate) and a PER(Packet Error Rate) by using the terminal itself or a receiving performance measurement device of the terminal connected in wire/wireless way for DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signal receiving performance of the terminal, thereby reducing measurement result errors. A signal generator(100) generates a DMB signal, and transmits the generated signal. A receiving RF(Radio Frequency) antenna(200) receives the DMB signal. A mobile communication terminal(300) measures the first BER and the first PER through a measurement function included in the terminal(300) itself by using the DMB signal, stores the measured results, and sends the results or sends the results after storing the DMB signal. A receiving performance measurement device(500) receives the first BER and PER to display the received BER and PER, or receives the DMB signal to measure the second BER and the second PER by using the signal, then displays the second BER and PER. A data transmitter(400) relays data between the terminal(300) and the device(500).
