A slide fastener chain is provided to express elegant design of a fastener element by forming a support having a width of a rear surface wider than that of a front surface at a middle portion of the fastener element. The slide fastener chain has a fastener element(2), made of synthetic resins, attached on the slide fastener chain according to an opposite border(6) of a pair of fastener tapes(4) at regular intervals. The fastener element has a front surface(7) formed in an outwardly curved surface(13) on the whole and a rear surface(8) formed in a flat plane(14). The front surface has a support(12), protruding from a lower section(10) in an end edge portion(11) direction, having a width gradually decreasing from a middle portion(15) to the end edge portion. The rear surface has the support, protruding from the lower section in the end edge portion direction, having a neck portion(16) installed on the middle portion and a tooth shaped head portion(17) installed on the end edge portion. |
