A method for limiting camera shooting and a mobile communication terminal for performing the method are provided to demand shooting approval to a mobile communication terminal that another person possesses, and to control so that a camera shooting action can be canceled by an approval message of another person, thus the camera shooting action can be controllable by another person. An object terminal information extractor(201) extracts object terminal information within a shooting range of a camera. A shooting permission request information transmitter(202) transmits camera shooting permission request information to an object terminal, based on the object terminal information. A shooting permission approval information receiver(203) receives shooting permission approval information from the object terminal by responding to the camera shooting permission request information. A shooting controller(204) controls object shooting of the camera, based on the shooting permission approval information.
