PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulating blade for an image forming apparatus achieving the reduction of cost by securing the conduction of a regulating member with an energizing plate member without affecting the quality, thereby improving the yield of the regulating blade. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the regulating blade 40 for the image forming apparatus equipped with the regulating member 37 for regulating toner on the outer circumferential surface of a developing roller to have fixed thickness, and a spring plate member 36 to whose edge part 36b the regulating member is stuck and fixed, material having desired conductivity is selected as the material for the regulating member and the spring plate member, and the regulating member is stuck and fixed on the edge part of the spring plate member by a double coated adhesive tape 42, and then a liquid conductive agent 43 hardened in ordinary temperature/ordinary humidity environment is applied to a spot where the regulating member and the spring plate member are adjacent through the double coated adhesive tape. Thereafter, the conductive agent is hardened by being left in the ordinary temperature/ordinary humidity environment for a whole day and night to evaporate a solvent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
