PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized and simple locking device which is useful for reducing disasters and can be installed even to existing furniture or the like while it is needed to take measures immediately in the present condition regarding that it cannot be predicted or foreknown when the Tokai or Tonankai earthquake will occur even though they are expected. SOLUTION: For the present condition regarding that it cannot be predicted or foreknown when an earthquake or the like will occur, a structure or constitution, which is locked every time a door or a drawer is opened and closed, and the state of being locked at all times are preferable. The simple and small-sized locking device without requiring time and labor of performing locking repeatedly or the like, which can be attached to the existing furniture or the like afterward and easily installed without damaging the design and function of the furniture or the like is provided with the minimum number of components.
