PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated warehouse having a shelf for housing pallets on which products are placed, and a carrying device for taking the products in and out of the shelf, wherein, even when the pallets are housed with a longitudinal direction of the long pallets approximately parallel to a width direction of the warehouse, the pallets can be carried in and out without increasing the size of the carrying device. SOLUTION: The carrying device includes a movable plate 160 that is movable forward and backward in a carry-in-and-out direction of the pallets P and on which the pallets P can be placed.
