PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set target position where vehicle stops at an intersection where vehicles must stop temporarily on entering. SOLUTION: A state of approach of the vehicle to the stop point Pi is judged based on a vehicle position P detected by a vehicle position detection part 10 and a stop position Pi memorized in a stop position storing part 60. A stop target position setting part 70 estimates the position where vehicle must stop based on the state of approach of own vehicle, vehicle speed V detected by a vehicle speed detection part 20, driving operation information recorded in a driving operation information recording part 40, and the vehicle position P; and sets a stop target position Pio for the temporary stop point.
