<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for reproducing a document containing both human-readable passages and machine-readable passages having sensitive information of which the decoding is controlled by user authentication restriction. <P>SOLUTION: This system 100 includes: a detector 132 for identifying encoded sensitive information in a digitized document; a decoder 140 which digitally decodes and extracts the encoded information from the sensitive information; a processor 172 which receives the decoded sensitive information; a user interface module 156 for receiving a user identifier; and an access mediator 148 for receiving the decoded sensitive information from the processor, comparing the user identifier with a decoding scheme associated with the document and allowing or disallowing the decoded sensitive information to be reproduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
