An air conditioner is provided to minimize the number of parts and cost and reduce the size of the air conditioner according as one blowing fan and one motor work in place of the cooling and heating operating blowers. An air conditioner comprises a body formed with plural air ports(2,4) where the air is sucked and discharged; and a blowing unit(70) for sucking the air through one air port of the plural air ports and for discharging the air to the other air port or reversely operating. The blowing unit contains a cooling operating blower(72) mounted at the upper part in the body and a heating operating blower(82) installed at the lower part in the body. Each cooling and heating operating blower has blowing fans(74,84) and motors(76,86) placed at one side of left/right sides of the fan. |
