PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marking device which can be used regardless of ambient temperatures, even in the case that a green laser excellent in visibility is used as a semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: The laser marking device comprises: a laser module equipped with the semiconductor laser 6a used as a light source; a branch means; a lens; a body tube which contains the laser module, the branch means and the lens; a microcomputer (control means) 111 for controlling light amount of the laser module; a tilt sensor (tilt monitoring means) 50 for detecting a tilt value of the body tube; an emission pattern changing switch 120 for changing emission patterns of beam light; and a switch 102 for turning on/off a dry battery (power source) 101 which drives the microcomputer 111. The microcomputer 111 controls the laser module at any times when the laser module is started and restarted, and when the emission patterns are changed, such that the amount of light emitted from the laser module is increased gradually for a prescribed period.
