PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device capable of making a plurality of bags stand in a row and at the same time, inspecting them under a sealed condition even though it is a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In a boxing apparatus 1, in a receiving device 4, an article X1 of the last end newly carried-in is pinched by holding plates 64a×64b of the second back end holding member 64 to apply a pressure to the article X1 while the article X1 is made to stand in a row under a vertically oriented condition. A controlling unit 92 inspects defective in sealing of the article X1 based on the result of inspection in a pressure sensor 65 fitted to a hanging part of the holding plate 64a. When the result of inspection in the pressure sensor 65 is smaller than a specified value, or the pressure detected is gradually decreased, this article X1 is judged to be defective in sealing.
